Beeman Precision

Many people may not be aware of the fact that we also offer extensive airgun repair services. Here at our offices we have perhaps the largest and best stocked repair facility in the United States. With several full-time gunsmiths ready to work on your gun, and the largest selection of parts at hand, we can quickly put nearly any gun back into working condition within days. Our gunsmiths have the knowledge, parts, and experience to fix not only most current brands of airguns, but also many older models.

WHAT BRANDS OF AIRGUNS DOES BEEMAN REPAIR?

In many cases, Beeman is the ONLY factory authorized and factory trained repair station in the United States. Do not be misled by any dealer making similar claims.

Beeman is able to repair most current brands of airguns, and many older guns as well. If you are unsure, call to verify that we can fix your particular gun.

Due to the lack of quality and/or parts, we generally WILL NOT repair the following brands: Air Match, Benjamin, Sheridan, Daisy, Crosman, EM-GE, FAS, Haenel, Healthways, Plainsman, Slavia, Smith & Wesson, or Chinese, Russian, Indian, or other inexpensive airguns.

HOW LONG WILL REPAIRS TAKE?

For most standard repairs and Super Tunes we can usually turn your airgun around within a few weeks of receipt.  However, there are times of the year when we do get large quantities of airguns for repair and the lead time can reach 45 to 60 days, please call 1-800-227-2744 to find out our current repair turnaround time.  If you need your airgun back in a quicker timeframe, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you; there may be additional fees for rush service.  We have thousands of parts on hand for most models, but if one must be special ordered for your gun this could add considerably to the time needed for repair. Since most parts come from European companies, we cannot control the speed at which they fill special parts orders, but when it does arrive your repair is made a priority to get fixed and returned promptly.

CUSTOM SERVICES

While we do not handle special custom orders for clients, we will perform Super Tunes, trigger jobs, install muzzle brakes, trigger shoes, screw cups, slings, and jobs along those lines. Call for details.

WHAT IS A SUPER TUNE?

The airgun is completely disassembled and all factory grease and oils are removed with solvents. All power mechanism and cocking parts are removed and inspected for burrs, galling, etc. Those parts and other areas that require it are honed and polished, and the mainspring and seals are replaced as necessary (at extra cost for used guns). Special Beeman lubricants are applied as the gun is reassembled, and finally tested. The result is a smoother operating, better shooting gun. Velocity and accuracy are improved to a degree - by how much depends on the individual gun. Super Tunes are not just for older guns; a new gun can also benefiting greatly and we highly recommend it.

BACKING

We back all labor and parts repaired for a period of 90 days from invoice date. The invoice and dated repair papers must be returned with any claims. We will, however, charge for any additional parts and labor not replaced during the initial repair.

HOW MUCH WILL REPAIRS COST?

Labor costs are based upon the skilled time spent on the gun at $58.00 per hour, and not on the actual value of the gun. Parts and shipping charges are additional. We will provide an estimate only upon request; since estimates take up additional administrative work and communications time a $28.00 estimate fee will be charged.  Should you choose to have us complete the work for you, the estimate fee will be applied to the repair.  Some people choose to place a limit on the repair costs. If we feel that we cannot fix your gun within your limit we will contact you with the additional charges.

SHIPPING YOUR AIRGUN

Send all airguns shipping prepaid and insured (no COD's are accepted) to: BPA Repair Dept., 5454 Argosy Drive, Huntington Beach, CA, 92649. Air or CO 2 rifles may be sent by UPS or parcel post; air pistols may only be sent via UPS or other private carrier.

NOTE: Beeman Guns Needing Repair. When sending a Beeman gun in for repair or warranty work, please include the original copy of the LRP and 5 Year Service Policy as applicable. If it is not included, the repair will be delayed until it arrives as the gunsmiths need to enter the repairs accomplished.

Be sure to pack your gun very securely, and send it uncocked and unloaded! Use a very rigid box that fits the gun well so that it does not move during shipping, even if dropped on end. We are not responsible for damage incurred during shipping. Include a note with an explanation of the problem, your name, address, and daytime telephone number.

CAUTION

Our repair and rebuilding work is intended to bring the used airgun as near to its original function and safety of operation as is reasonably possible. We will not alter any guns from their design. Please be advised that your old airgun may not include a safety or trigger block, may fire when impacted, may have an easily discharged trigger, and that features may have been altered, added, or deleted. We do not contract to make those changes, or advise you of them! You alone are liable for the safety of your repaired or rebuilt airgun.

WORK LEFT FOR 90 DAYS

Any goods left for over 30 days after last written advice to the customer or for which payment has not been received for over 90 days are considered abandoned and will become the property of Beeman Precision Airguns.
